Yes, I do photograph many more subjects than musicians! I decided to practice with the more difficult subjects to work with when I started teaching myself digital camera work. They are usually in low lit, smoky places and are moving subjects! Good practice. Work is shown in various galleries: Fine Art and Portraits; specific Events; Musicians and Music; Commercial work (invisible to the public). My style of portraiture is different. An insight of the moment, between the breaths, behind the public persona. I deeply respect each person I photograph more than I can express. |

Creativity may find various avenues to express itself, but, sometimes it is the more familiar that offers the most exciting and surprising expansion. So I discovered when I decided April 1, 2012 to put my toes into the digital world. How cool THIS is! I discovered that this is not the same photographer's "hat" that I had worn before...and I am basically giddy!
