"The first cut..." is about what it takes to get the initial stages of planning and the execution of making the first cut in the first plank of oak for the Skateboard sculpture. (This sculpture will be skateboard able for kids!).

Besides all the discussion throughout each consideration of the logistics in dealing with 5- 3" thick planks of oak that are 13 feet to 17 feet long, weighing 300 - 400 pounds each..., takes extreme care. In this case, a hoist was built on site.

Also, you will see Steve going between his projects and delegating to one or more of his Team. From making art with hearts and materials, burnishing wood for frames, to the realization of the "first cut" for the Skateboard sculpture...this is a big day!
